The HUSS (Global Coexistence Humanities and Social Sciences Convergence Talent Development Project Group) at Honam University, led by Song Changsoo, announced on the 4th that it held an inauguration ceremony for the 2nd group of supporters.
During this ceremony, the goals of the HUSS project group and the roles of the supporters were explained, and official appointment certificates were awarded to the students selected as supporters.
The HUSS Global Lounge, established last year on the second floor of Jiseong Hall, is a space created to support students' project activities and community engagement. HUSS supporters promote the main activities of the project group, directly participate in various programs in the field of global coexistence, and develop their competencies in humanities and social sciences convergence. Supporters, selected each semester, receive benefits such as activity scholarships and priority selection for overseas university exchange programs.
Song Changsoo, head of the HUSS project group, stated, "Thanks to the enthusiastic activities of the first group of supporters last year, the project was able to become even more active. This semester as well, we will support the second group of supporters so that they can take the lead and widely promote the value of global coexistence."
