Jeonju University and Yanghyeon High School Join Hands to Foster Creative and Convergent Talent

Promotion of Autonomous Public High School 2.0

Jeonju University (President Park Jinbae) and Yanghyeon High School (Principal Lee Wonhyeong) have joined hands to foster creative and convergent talents.


Jeonju University announced on the 3rd that it had signed a business agreement the previous day in the reception room on the 4th floor of the main building to promote Autonomous Public High School 2.0.

The signing ceremony was attended by Park Jinbae, President of Jeonju University, Lee Geunho, Dean of Admissions, Kwak Igoo, Director of Planning, as well as Lee Wonhyeong, Principal of Yanghyeon High School, Choi Hansook, Vice Principal, and other officials from both institutions.


The main content of this agreement includes mutual cooperation between the two institutions for: ▲ establishing a sustainable governance system to implement the educational plan ▲ developing customized educational curricula and strengthening students' college entrance competencies ▲ joint use of research equipment and mutual exchange of knowledge, information, and personnel.


In particular, through this agreement, Jeonju University is expected to provide Yanghyeon High School students with opportunities for educational programs and research collaboration linked to the university's areas of strength, as well as support for regionally specialized curricula, thereby fostering outstanding talents with differentiated competitiveness.


President Park Jinbae stated, "Through this agreement, I hope that we can actively utilize the university's excellent resources to operate programs that support the growth of Yanghyeon High School students as local talents," adding, "We expect that the various programs and activities jointly promoted by both institutions will provide practical help to students."


Meanwhile, Jeonju University is continuously establishing a foundation for cooperation not only with local governments, education offices, and companies but also with local high schools to promote regional industrial development and nurture talent.
