The Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 3rd that it will hire 211 new employees in the first half of this year.
The types of employment are divided into 43 regular positions (general, veterans, experienced, skilled), 2 contract positions, and 150 experiential youth internships.
The experiential youth internship program operates for six months to provide young people with practical job experience. Among the interns who complete the youth internship, those with excellent work performance may receive additional points when applying for the Authority's regular recruitment exams in the future.
Excluding the youth interns, the number of hires by job category is as follows: 6 administrative staff, 24 civil engineering, 3 architecture, 4 electrical (electric railway power), 1 telecommunications, 2 mechanical, 2 skilled workers (operation), 1 skilled worker (track equipment and machining), 13 national important facility security, 1 cleaning staff, 2 operation staff, and 2 contract positions (equipment vehicle transporters).
Applications will be accepted through the Authority's recruitment website from the 10th to the 17th of this month. After the application deadline, the Authority will conduct document screening, written tests, and interviews, and announce the final successful candidates in June.
