A police officer working at a police substation in Gumi, Gyeongbuk, was found dead from a gunshot wound.

According to the Gyeongbuk Provincial Police Agency on the 3rd, at around 8:50 a.m. that day, Lieutenant A, affiliated with the Gumi Police Station, was found dead from a gunshot wound inside a patrol car parked in front of a police substation building in the jurisdiction by colleagues, who reported it.

It is known that no criminal connection was found at the scene of the incident.

A police official stated, "There is no suspicion of homicide or other criminal charges, but we are investigating the detailed circumstances of the death."
