'2025 VK Alliance Day' to Be Held
The Korea Tourism Organization announced on the 4th that it will hold the '2025 Visit Korea (VK) Alliance Day' at Jeongdong 1928 Art Center.
The VK Alliance is a collaborative system newly established last year, centered on the Tourism Organization's multilingual integrated Korean tourism platform 'VK', to support attracting foreign tourists and the overseas expansion of domestic tourism services through public-private cooperation.
At this event, appointment certificates will be awarded to the 15 VK Alliance member companies selected this year, and the annual operation plan will be announced. In addition, networking time among member companies will be provided to explore collaboration methods between organizations and discuss effective strategies for attracting foreign tourists.
The Organization and VK Alliance members plan to produce customized content based on various tourism products and services of member companies, such as ▲accommodation & dining ▲tourist taxi mobility services ▲Hangang cruise tours ▲non-verbal art performances ▲traditional culture theme parks, thereby enhancing member brand awareness and further strengthening competitiveness in domestic and international markets.
This year, large-scale promotions targeting foreigners will be conducted twice, in the first and second halves of the year. Additionally, by utilizing 40 million VK customer data and location-based services, more precise targeted marketing will be pursued, and differentiated discount benefits and travel conveniences will be provided to increase the satisfaction of foreign tourists.
Park So-young, head of the Overseas Digital Marketing Team at the Tourism Organization, stated, "Through the VK Alliance, we will support participating organizations to collaborate and achieve tangible results, and provide various opportunities for foreign tourists to enjoy differentiated travel experiences."
