SKT Partners with Global Data Companies to Develop 'Enterprise AI'

'AI Market Intelligence' Platform to Launch in the First Half of the Year

On the 3rd, SK Telecom announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the global data provider 'Kepler' to strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI) intelligence capabilities. Kepler is a global data specialist company that comprehensively provides trade-related information such as raw materials and logistics, helping companies make efficient and accurate decisions.

Through this collaboration, SKT plans to enhance its expertise in utilizing and analyzing market information based on AI technology. By leveraging Model Context Protocol (MCP) technology, the two companies will link their data and support corporate decision-making based on the precise information obtained. It is also expected that cooperation will continue for the future application of SKT's proprietary large language model (LLM), 'A.Dot.X (A.X) 4.0.'

In particular, momentum has been gained to advance the performance of the 'AI Market Intelligence' platform, scheduled for release in the first half of this year. This platform is a corporate service that predicts raw material trends such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by enhancing financial market analysis models through AI, jointly developed with SK C&C. It will provide AI models that support market forecasts for various industries including energy, chemicals, semiconductors, and batteries. The service will first be offered to SK affiliates and then gradually expanded to external customers.

Shin Yong-sik, Vice President and Head of SKT AIX Division, said, "The collaboration with Kepler will be an opportunity to elevate our market information analysis capabilities and insights to the next level."
