Paju City in Gyeonggi announced on the 3rd that a series of donations are continuing to support the damage caused by the wildfires in the Yeongnam region. They received donations of 10 million won from Jangeomyeongga Jijunghae, 10 million won from Green Fence Co., Ltd., and 6.75 million won from the horticultural volunteer group ‘Kkot-euro’.

At the donation ceremony held on the 2nd, Seong Chan-hyeon, CEO of Jangeomyeongga Jijunghae, and related personnel, as well as Kim Hye-sook, president of the horticultural volunteer group ‘Kkot-euro’, and its members attended.
The donated funds will be used to support wildfire damage relief in the Yeongnam region through the Northern Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest.
CEO Seong Chan-hyeon said, “I wanted to convey a small token of comfort to the local residents affected by the sudden wildfire.” President Kim Hye-sook also said, “We are saddened by the great damage caused by the wildfire and decided to donate together with our members in hopes that the recovery will proceed quickly.”
Kim Kyung-il, mayor of Paju City, expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank Jangeomyeongga Jijunghae, the horticultural volunteer group ‘Kkot-euro’, and Green Fence Co., Ltd. for their generous donations to support the wildfire damage in the Yeongnam region. We ask for much interest and participation in the special fundraising so that residents suffering from wildfire damage can restore their daily lives.”
Paju City, together with the Northern Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest, will conduct a special fundraising campaign for wildfire damage relief in the Yeongnam region from March 24 to April 30.
