Shinsegae Simon Launches Foreign Shopping Tour Product with Hana Tour ITC

One-Day Shopping Tour Departing from Hongdae and Myeongdong
Plans to Attract More Visitors Through Diverse Infrastructure and Service Development

Shinsegae Simon announced on the 3rd that starting from the 4th, it will operate the 'Yeoju Premium Outlets One-Day Shopping Tour' product in collaboration with Hana Tour ITC, a domestic inbound (foreign tourists visiting Korea) specialized travel agency.

The itinerary involves traveling from Seoul's Hongdae and Myeongdong, popular areas for overseas tourists, to Yeoju Premium Outlets, where participants can enjoy shopping and relaxation for five hours before returning to the starting point.

The product operates every Friday and Sunday. Reservations can be made through the Hana Tour ITC website and some global online travel agencies (OTAs). With the launch of this tour product, a direct route to visit Yeoju Premium Outlets from Gangbuk will open, following the existing route from Gangnam in Seoul. Since July 2023, Dongbu Express has been operating a direct bus connecting Gangnam Express Bus Terminal and Yeoju Premium Outlets. Over 20,000 foreign tourists have used this direct bus service over the course of 1 year and 8 months until February of this year.

Shinsegae Simon plans to enhance the accessibility of Yeoju Premium Outlets and develop it into a highly attractive tourism shopping center that individual foreign FIT (Free Independent Travelers) will definitely want to visit.

A Shinsegae Simon official stated, "We planned this one-day shopping tour product to make it more convenient for foreign tourists to visit Yeoju Premium Outlets," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our shopping competitiveness targeting overseas FIT customers through unique brands, convenient infrastructure, and services."
