'Practicing Love for Hometown'... Warm Generosity from a Businessman Who Contributed to Local Development for 16 Years
Uiseong County in North Gyeongsang Province announced on the 2nd that it received a donation of 300 million KRW on the 1st from Lee Giyun, former honorary head of Danbuk-myeon and CEO of GK Asset, to support wildfire victims.

Lee Giyun served as the honorary head of Danbuk-myeon for 16 years starting in 2008, continuously contributing to the development of his hometown. He has established himself as a strong supporter of the local community through various social contribution activities, including supporting the Uiseong County Scholarship Foundation and regional development funds.
Lee Giyun stated, "I extend my deepest sympathies to the wildfire victims who are facing great difficulties due to the sudden disaster," and added, "I hope this donation will help the affected residents quickly return to their daily lives."
Kim Jusu, Governor of Uiseong County, expressed, "I am deeply grateful to former honorary head Lee Giyun for making such a significant decision during these challenging times," and continued, "The donation will be promptly used for emergency livelihood stabilization and recovery support for residents in the affected areas."
Meanwhile, the donation will be used by Uiseong County for various emergency relief projects to support wildfire recovery and aid the victims.
