Gwon Young-se, the Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, is reported to have circulated a letter among party members stating that President Yoon Seok-yeol's impeachment should be dismissed.

According to political circles on the 2nd, Chairman Gwon delivered the letter containing such content along with a book arguing procedural issues in President Yoon's impeachment trial to party members. The verdict on President Yoon's impeachment trial is scheduled to be announced at 11 a.m. on the 4th.
In the letter, Chairman Gwon reportedly wrote, "I present this book with the hope that the impeachment will be dismissed for the future of the Republic of Korea." The book delivered to People Power Party members along with the letter is titled Standing at the Edge of a Precipice, authored by lawyer Kang Min-gu, a former presiding judge at the Seoul High Court. The book contains arguments that there were legal and procedural problems during the impeachment accusation and investigation process against President Yoon.
