IBK "300 Million KRW Support for SMEs Hiring Local Technical Talent"

IBK Industrial Bank (President Kim Sung-tae) announced on the 2nd that it will expand support for the 'Job Filling Fund' to alleviate manpower shortages and strengthen technological capabilities of companies with excellent technology.


The 'Job Filling Fund' is a service that actively supports employment for small and medium-sized enterprises by providing financial costs of 500,000 KRW per hired regular employee. The accumulated amount can be used for loan interest, various fees, credit card payments, and more.


Starting this month, Industrial Bank will provide a preferential support of 2 million KRW per person when small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent technology hire personnel who hold master's or doctoral degrees in science and engineering fields or national technical qualifications 'Gisa' in technical fields. In particular, technology companies located in provincial areas experiencing severe manpower shortages will receive special support of 3 million KRW per person when hiring technical personnel.


In addition, Industrial Bank is promoting various job projects such as SME worker welfare enhancement programs, operation of the SME job specialized platform 'i-ONE JOB', and hosting job fairs to improve job quality and support hiring in SMEs.


An Industrial Bank official stated, "We will collaborate with related organizations to enhance the support effect so that excellent technical personnel can flow into small and medium-sized enterprises."
