Until now, the Ttokbus CS Center has contributed to improving the quality of transportation services in Gyeonggi-do by resolving various inquiries and inconveniences of users of the Gyeonggi-do integrated transportation platform ‘Ttokta’ and supporting the real-time dispatch service of Ttokbus phone calls for digitally marginalized groups in rural and fishing villages.

The newly opened Ttokbus CS Center is a newly established center in Okjeong-dong, Yangju-si, in line with various policies to enhance transportation welfare and convenience, such as the expansion of Ttokbus operation areas and additional buses promoted by Gyeonggi-do and Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation by 2025, and the expansion of Ttokbus phone call services to the entire region. In the future, it is expected to provide prompt and stable civil complaint response services while also contributing to job creation for residents as an additional effect.

At the opening ceremony, several officials who have supported the establishment of the Yangju-si Ttokbus CS Center in various ways attended, including Lee Young-ju, member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Construction and Transportation Committee; Yoon Tae-wan, Director of Gyeonggi-do Metropolitan Transportation Policy Division; Min Kyung-sun, President of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation; Jeong Seung-ho, Bus Support Team Leader of Yangju-si; and Lee Jeong-ah, CEO of Transcosmos Korea. They discussed the future direction of center operations and encouraged the staff.

Yoon Tae-wan, Director of Gyeonggi-do Metropolitan Transportation Policy Division, expressed in his congratulatory speech, “I want to say thank you to everyone who worked hard to establish the Ttokbus CS Center in Yangju-si. I expect that the CS Center will be able to perform its role more stably in the future.”

Following this, Lee Young-ju, member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council Construction and Transportation Committee, said, “I expect the Yangju-si Ttokbus CS Center to contribute to job creation in northern Gyeonggi, and I will continue to take a keen interest so that better services can be provided to Gyeonggi residents.”

Min Kyung-sun, President of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, said, “There were many difficulties from the plan to relocate the Ttokbus CS Center to its opening today, but we were able to boldly proceed based on the know-how of operating the Metropolitan Mobility Support Center. We will actively strive to ensure that Gyeonggi residents experience no inconvenience when calling Ttokbus through the Gyeonggi-do Ttokbus CS Center.”

Meanwhile, Gyeonggi-do and Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation plan to introduce AI consultations such as chatbots and voicebots in the future, aiming to provide higher-quality civil complaint response services to residents by automating simple complaint handling tasks and improving workforce operation efficiency. Ttokbus is a Gyeonggi-do type demand-responsive transport system (DRT), meaning ‘a bus that moves smartly.’
