A convergence stage where artificial intelligence and artists collaborate under the theme of spring will be held in Gwangju.
The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 2nd that it will host the '7th AI Convergence Concert' at 1:30 PM on the 26th at the Imagination Hall on the first floor of the main building. This concert is a complex cultural event that presents how artificial intelligence (AI) technology is utilized in creative fields such as music and performing arts through performances, lectures, and hands-on experiences.

In Part 1, music composed by the AI composer 'EvoM' will be performed by the AI piano 'INFINIA' and the daegeum (Korean bamboo flute) AI performer 'Yedam.' INFINIA is a 'creative AI instrument' equipped with technology that analyzes the expressions and surroundings of the audience to compose and perform music on the spot.
Part 2 will feature Professor Ahn Changwook of Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, the developer of EvoM, on stage. Under the theme 'The Birth and Evolution of AI Composer EvoM,' he will share the creative potential of AI and the future brought by the convergence of art and technology. The final Part 3 will be an audience participation segment, where visitors can directly play the AI piano on stage or experience its interactive responses.
A representative from the Science Museum said, "AI is now making a full-scale entry into uniquely human artistic domains such as painting, literature, and music," adding, "We hope that through this concert, citizens will be able to experience firsthand the creativity and artistic potential of AI."
The event has a participation fee of 1,000 KRW, and advance reservations are available for up to 150 people on a first-come, first-served basis through the Science Museum's website.
