Kwon Jaedeuk, Former President of Yeongdeok Hometown Association in Daegu, Donates 60 Million Won for Wildfire Recovery

Kwon Jaedeuk, president of the Yeongdeok Residents Association in Daegu, donated 10 million KRW to the Yeongdeok County as an emergency fundraising for wildfire relief and an additional 50 million KRW as a general donation on the 28th to support his hometown suffering from wildfires.


Kwon, who is originally from Changsu-myeon in Yeongdeok County, has shown exceptional affection for his hometown, making annual donations and actively participating in various activities for the benefit of Yeongdeok County.


Kim Gwangyeol, the county governor, expressed his gratitude, saying, "President Kwon Jaedeuk's deep affection and generosity toward his hometown will become a new source of hope, empowering not only the victims but all county residents to recover." He added, "We will do our utmost to support the affected residents and restore the damages, staying true to his intentions."
