Busan Port Authority Announces Recruitment of Young Participants for 'Busan Port Customized Employment Support Program'

From Writing Self-Introduction Letters to Industry Matching:
Comprehensive Employment Support for Youth from A to Z

Busan Port Authority (BPA) is recruiting young participants for the 'Busan Port Customized Employment Support Project,' which is being carried out through a business agreement with the Public Coexistence Solidarity Fund (Chairman Noh Kwangpyo).


The target youth for recruitment are those aged 18 to 34 who reside in the Busan or Gyeongnam regions and fall into one of the following categories: ▲children scheduled for protection termination ▲youth preparing for self-reliance ▲North Korean defector youth ▲second-generation multicultural families ▲persons with disabilities ▲national merit recipients.


BPA plans to provide the participating youth with various employment capacity-building programs, including ▲hosting job matching days with industries related to Busan Port ▲acquisition of industry-specific certifications ▲guidance on writing self-introduction letters ▲interview presentation training. To motivate participants, BPA will also offer employment congratulatory funds to youth who secure jobs through the program.


Information regarding the announcement will be provided on the BPA website, and application documents will be accepted from the 7th to 6:00 PM on the 25th.


BPA President Song Sangkeun stated, “We launched this employment project to provide practical support for strengthening the employment capabilities of local youth and to enhance the competitiveness of industries related to Busan Port. We look forward to the enthusiastic participation of many young people.”
