A Rewarding Spring Trip to Jangseong... Plenty of Benefits in April and May

Sports Festival, Rock Festival, and Flower Festival to Be Held in Succession

Jangseong County in Jeollanam-do is launching the ‘Year of Visiting Jangseong’ project starting in April to mark the beginning of the peak tourism season. The county has designated April and May, when local festivals and sports events are held in succession, as ‘Months of Visit’ and will focus on hosting various events for travelers.

According to the county on the 2nd, major events include the Jeonnam Sports Festival starting from the 18th of this month, the Seongjang Jangseong Rock Festival (April 19), the Jeonnam Sports Festival for the Disabled (April 30 to May 2), and the Gildongmu Flower Road Festival (May 10-11).

Among these, the ‘Receipt Review Event’ stands out. During April and May, visitors who use restaurants, cafes, or accommodations in Jangseong and leave a receipt review with a verification photo on Naver, then visit the Jangseong Station Traveler Platform, can receive Jangseong Love Gift Certificates worth between 20,000 and 70,000 KRW.

Tourist taxi support is also available for those using public transportation. Courses are available for 3, 5, and 8 hours, with Jangseong County covering half of the fare. A free shuttle service, ‘Luxury Forest Tour Again,’ is also provided for hikers visiting the Chukryeongsan Hinoki Forest.
