Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated, "I expect the Constitutional Court to make a proper decision with the constitutional duty given, the responsibility entrusted by the people, and a sense of historical mission, and I will wait." Earlier, the Constitutional Court set the date for the impeachment trial verdict of President Yoon Seok-yeol for the 4th.

At the Democratic Party's Supreme Council meeting held on the 2nd in front of the tent headquarters in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, Lee said, "Fortunately, the Constitutional Court has set the verdict date."

He added, "Maintaining the constitutional order is a fundamental and important task for the survival of the Republic of Korea," and said, "The judiciary is called the last bastion of human rights and democracy, but the Constitutional Court is the last bastion of the constitutional order."

He emphasized, "The Constitutional Court will respect the constitutional order, ideology, and the values of the democratic republic of Korea and make a proper judgment."

The party leadership pressured the Constitutional Court to unanimously accept President Yoon's impeachment trial. Floor leader Park Chan-dae said, "There is no conclusion other than dismissal, which is common sense among the people," and emphasized, "Yoon Seok-yeol's return is the destruction of Korea, and dismissal of the impeachment is a direct denial of the constitution that 'the Republic of Korea is a democratic republic' and grants Yoon Seok-yeol a license to freely declare martial law."

He added, "I am confident that on the 4th, the Constitutional Court justices will unanimously issue an order such as 'The respondent President Yoon Seok-yeol is dismissed.'"
