Buyeo County to Host '2025 Buyeo National Heritage Night Walk' at Jeongnimsa Temple Site on the 4th

Buyeo County, Chungnam Province, announced on the 2nd that the "2025 Buyeo National Heritage Night Walk" will be held at the Jeongnimsaji area from the 4th to the 6th.

This year's Night Walk will highlight the region's traditional culture with performances such as the Chochon Chuyang-ri Durepungjang pungmulnori, an opening performance using roof tile pattern cube sculptures, and a laser performance at the Jeongnimsaji Five-story Stone Pagoda.

The county has prepared beautiful lighting displays and a variety of programs so that visitors can enjoy the national heritage under the soft moonlight and falling cherry blossoms, as the event coincides with the cherry blossom season.

A total of 49 programs themed around the "Eight Nights" will be offered, designed so that people of all ages can enjoy performances, hands-on experiences, food, and more.

New programs include: ▲ "The Breath of Baekje, The Revival of Chimi," which uses media art to recreate scenes of firing roof tiles during the Baekje era ▲ "Roof Tile Excavation Experience," where participants can excavate and learn about roof tiles at a Baekje-era kiln site ▲ "Sabi Kiln Site Tour & Sabi Stay," which combines accommodation at Buyeo Youth Hostel with a tour of the Jeongam-ri kiln site ▲ "Sabi Photographer," sponsored by Canon, where participants can learn night photography techniques and capture national heritage sites ▲ and hands-on activities such as "Writing Wishes on Roof Tiles," "Making Roof Tile Pizza," and "Roof Tile Crafting."

Additionally, there will be welfare programs for people with disabilities, allowing them to learn about Baekje roof tiles through tactile and auditory experiences, and a "Sabi History Humanities Concert" by cultural heritage expert Professor Yu Hongjun.

Furthermore, the Jeongnimsaji Museum, the National Buyeo Museum (including the Children's Museum), and Buyeo Culture Center's content will be available until 11 p.m.

A county official stated, "We are doing our best to ensure that all visitors to Buyeo can escape the stress of everyday life and create special memories on these beautiful spring days."
