Humaninmotion Robotics Asia, a robotics subsidiary of Benoti&AR (CEO Jeong Jib-hoon), a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on the 2nd that it signed a robot sales and strategic partnership agreement with Robotimize, a Singapore-based advanced healthcare company, on the 27th of last month to expand its wearable robot business in the ASEAN region.
Humaninmotion Robotics Asia is a joint venture (JV) established by Benoti&AR and Benoti&AR’s Canadian robotics affiliate Humaninmotion Robotics to develop the wearable robot business in the Asia-Pacific region. Robotimize is a healthcare specialist headquartered in Singapore that supplies advanced healthcare products to Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries. It has a healthcare network in more than 60 countries worldwide and provides medical solutions based on advanced rehabilitation robots and assistive technologies.
Through this agreement, the two companies will introduce humanoid wearable robot solutions to the rapidly growing ASEAN rehabilitation and healthcare markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and target these markets. To this end, they plan to maximize synergy by combining their expertise in robotics and healthcare product commercialization.
Kerry Guo, founder and CEO of Robotimize, said, “This collaboration is one of the important steps for Robotimize to realize rehabilitation technology innovation in the Asian region,” adding, “Through the synergy of the two companies’ technological capabilities and business experience, we expect to spread wearable robot rehabilitation solutions in the ASEAN market and provide customers with tangible therapeutic effects and satisfaction.”
Park Jung-wook, co-CEO of Humaninmotion Robotics Asia, said, “Through the partnership with Robotimize, we will supply robot products tailored to the medical environments of each country and ensure they lead to tangible market results,” adding, “Humaninmotion Robotics Asia will continue to expand the distribution of healthcare robots in the Asia-Pacific region based on technological capabilities and create new standards for rehabilitation treatment.”
Meanwhile, Benoti&AR is working with Humaninmotion Robotics and Humaninmotion Robotics Asia to expand the global supply of the next-generation humanoid wearable robot ‘XoMotion.’ XoMotion is a robot that assists users’ mobility and rehabilitation of patients with lower body paralysis, featuring self-balancing technology that supports hands-free walking for users.
