Hana Bank Offers Up to 3.05~5.5% Interest Rates to First-Time Savings and Deposit Customers

Interest Rate Discount Coupons for 30,000 Customers Each:
0.20% per annum for Deposits, 2.50% per annum for Installment Savings

Hana Bank announced on the 2nd that it will hold the event "First Time Opening a Deposit or Installment Savings? Start with Hana!" which offers interest rate discount coupons to customers opening a deposit or installment savings account for the first time.

This event, conducted through the Hana One Q app, will run until the 30th and is a special benefit for customers who have not opened a deposit or installment savings account with Hana Bank in the past year (from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025).

Customers opening a deposit account for the first time will receive an interest rate discount coupon of 0.20% per annum (before tax) for the "Hana Jeonggi Deposit" product, and with the coupon applied, the maximum interest rate can reach 3.05% per annum (before tax). The new subscription limit is 50 million KRW, and the contract period is one year.

Customers opening an installment savings account for the first time will receive an interest rate discount coupon of 2.50% per annum (before tax) for the "Naemam Savings" product, and with the coupon applied, they can subscribe at a maximum interest rate of 5.50% per annum (before tax). The monthly payment amount can be up to 200,000 KRW, and the contract period is one year.

Hana Bank will provide a total of 60,000 interest rate discount coupons, including 30,000 coupons for first-time deposit accounts and 30,000 coupons for first-time installment savings accounts. These coupons can be issued on the event page of Hana Bank’s representative mobile app, Hana One Q. Additionally, among customers who use the coupons to open both deposit and installment savings accounts during the event period, 20 will be selected by lottery to receive a BBQ chicken set as a bonus gift.

A Hana Bank official stated, "We prepared this event with interest rate discount benefits to welcome customers starting their first deposit or installment savings transaction with Hana Bank," and added, "We will continue to provide various products and benefits for customers beginning financial transactions with Hana Bank."
