2,340 Boxes of Daily Necessities Delivered to Wildfire-Affected Areas Including Uiseong, Yeongyang, Cheongsong, and Sancheong
Toothpaste, Shampoo, and Other Essential Items Provided
LG Household & Health Care has launched relief efforts to help disaster victims following the containment of large-scale wildfires nationwide.
On the 2nd, LG Household & Health Care announced that on the 31st of last month, it delivered 2,340 boxes of daily necessities to disaster victims in severely affected areas such as Uiseong-gun, Yeongyang-gun, Cheongsong-gun in Gyeongbuk Province, and Sancheong-gun in Gyeongnam Province through 'Community Chest of Korea' and 'People Sharing Hope'.

The main support items included Yusimol toothpaste, Elastine shampoo, On The Body body wash, and Piji laundry detergent. These products were selected based on the immediate needs of the disaster victims.
LG Household & Health Care plans to provide additional support such as daily necessities, drinking water, and beverages to areas where evacuation is expected to be prolonged.
Choi Nam-su, Executive Director of ESG and External Cooperation at LG Household & Health Care, emphasized, “We prioritized providing essential daily necessities to alleviate the suffering of disaster victims facing this devastating disaster. We will closely monitor the situation on site and continuously seek ways to offer further assistance.”
Meanwhile, LG Household & Health Care has been supporting local communities during national disasters, including recovery support for the heavy rains in the central region (2022) and aid for vulnerable groups during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020), in addition to this wildfire relief effort.
