The CP is an internal compliance system operated by companies to comply with fair trade-related laws and regulations. The Fair Trade Commission evaluates the operational status of companies that have introduced CP, assigns grades, and provides differentiated incentives.
Lotte Construction has a Compliance Office and strengthens CP activities through publishing a compliance manual, operating councils, and educational programs.
They regularly publish a legal information card news called 'CP TIMES' for employees and conduct preventive education such as sharing subcontracting violation cases while touring nationwide sites. In case of disputes, a mediation council is immediately activated to respond.
A Lotte Construction official said, "This Commendation from the Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission is the result of Lotte Construction's continuous efforts to establish a fair trade culture," adding, "We will continue active CP activities to enhance employees' compliance awareness and build a transparent corporate culture."
