Base Increase Rate of 3%, Performance-Based Increase of 2%
Agreement Reached Without Labor Disputes for Second Consecutive Year
Samsung Electro-Mechanics management and labor have signed this year's wage agreement. This marks the second consecutive year of reaching an agreement without any labor disputes since the establishment of the labor union.
On April 1, Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced that it held the 2025 wage agreement signing ceremony in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. The event was attended by representatives from both management and labor, including Bongsoo Park, Team Leader of the People Team, and Hunsik Shin, Chairman of the Respect Labor Union, as well as negotiation committee members.

Management and labor reached a tentative agreement on this year's wage deal on March 26. The labor union conducted a vote on the tentative agreement from March 27 to 31, and the proposal was ultimately approved with a 79% approval rate.
Under this agreement, the average wage increase rate agreed upon by Samsung Electro-Mechanics management and labor for this year is 5.0% (comprising a 3% base increase and a 2% performance-based increase). In addition, a special organizational activation bonus of 300,000 won will be paid to all employees.
Bongsoo Park, Executive Vice President and Team Leader of the People Team at Samsung Electro-Mechanics, stated, "We look forward to even greater growth for the company based on cooperation and mutual prosperity between management and labor." Hunsik Shin, Chairman of the Respect Labor Union, said, "Since this outcome was achieved through the joint efforts of management and labor, I hope that the company and the union will continue to grow together in the future."
Meanwhile, the Respect Labor Union of Samsung Electro-Mechanics, established in January last year, currently has about 2,800 members actively participating.
