Hana Securities forecasted on the 2nd that Jaeyoung Solutek is expected to record its highest-ever performance this year, influenced by the advancement of smartphone camera performance. Jaeyoung Solutek is a company that develops and manufactures autofocus (AF) actuators installed in smartphone camera modules.

Choi Jae-ho, a researcher at Hana Securities, stated, "Jaeyoung Solutek is the only domestic company producing the entire product lineup including VCM (Voice Coil Motor), Encoder AF, and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization)." He analyzed, "Performance growth will continue due to the increase in the number of cameras and the enhancement of component specifications for high-quality photo and video shooting." No investment opinion or target price was provided.

Jaeyoung Solutek's performance recorded sales of 111.4 billion KRW and operating profit of 10 billion KRW last year, increasing by 29.4% and 49.3% respectively compared to the previous year. This year, sales are expected to reach 160 billion KRW and operating profit 17.7 billion KRW, setting a record high.

As Samsung Electronics continues to improve smartphone camera performance, Jaeyoung Solutek supplies key components mainly for the Galaxy A series and S series. In particular, the supply of high value-added OIS products is expected to expand significantly starting this year. Researcher Choi explained, "The market share of OIS for the A56 model has expanded to 80%, and we have developed the industry's first ultra-thin OIS, which is supplied to the A26 model."

OIS sales are expected to surpass 46.8 billion KRW last year to 100 billion KRW this year. Researcher Choi predicted, "Jaeyoung Solutek's Encoder and OIS are installed in all Galaxy S25 models released earlier this year, with first-quarter sales expected to exceed 40 billion KRW and an operating profit margin (OPM) of 10%. From the second quarter, as OIS supply for the A26 and A56 models accelerates, a series of strong performances is anticipated."
