To support care, a total of seven projects will be operated, including hospital safe accompaniment services, home health care, Care SOS, and senior customized care services. Additionally, nine projects aimed at preventing solitary deaths will be promoted, such as neighborhood care groups, smart check-in services, and public funeral support.

Eight housing support projects, including Seoul-style rental deposit support, youth monthly rent support, and rental housing support for housing-vulnerable groups, along with five safety projects such as expanding security closed-circuit television (CCTV), providing safety equipment for single-person households, and installing intrusion detection devices for housing-vulnerable groups, will enhance overall living stability.

Notably, this year introduces the ‘Intrusion Detection Device Installation Support Project for Housing-Vulnerable Groups’ and the ‘Daily Care Project.’ Detection devices will be installed on the exterior walls of row houses, multi-family houses, and multi-unit houses to prevent crime. Through the Daily Care Project, customized services such as home visits for care and housekeeping, meal delivery and nutrition management, hospital accompaniment, and psychological counseling services will be provided to young and middle-aged adults in care blind spots.

The district will actively utilize infrastructure and public-private cooperation systems, such as operating a single-person household support center and implementing public-private cooperative contest projects, to ensure these projects proceed smoothly. Efforts to stabilize the lives of single-person households and prevent social isolation will also be strengthened through continuous policy development and systematic support.

Mayor Lee Soon-hee stated, “Through customized support projects reflecting the diverse needs of single-person households, we will guarantee a safer and healthier life,” adding, “We will improve the quality of life for single-person households through continuous policy improvements and expanded support.”
