Providing SPAO Underwear, Socks, T-Shirts, and More
E-Land Group announced on the 1st that it will urgently provide clothing and daily necessities worth a total of 500 million KRW (based on the regular price) to help residents affected by the large-scale wildfire that occurred in the Gyeongbuk region.
Currently, the E-Land Welfare Foundation is cooperating with organizations conducting on-site relief activities, such as the Gyeongbuk Red Cross, to deliver supplies. The emergency support items are composed mainly of goods that the disaster victims practically need.
Centered around the fashion brand 'SPAO,' the items include men's and women's underwear, socks, short-sleeve T-shirts, top and bottom tracksuit sets, and 'SPAO Kids' children's clothing, considering family units affected. Additionally, a total of 1,693 blankets and mats sponsored through the daily goods brand Modern House were donated.
An E-Land Group official said, “We decided to donate clothing utilizing the brand capabilities owned by the group to provide practical help to the residents going through difficult times due to the sudden disaster,” adding, “We hope this will alleviate some of the inconveniences in their daily lives.”
The E-Land Welfare Foundation is also conducting a fundraising campaign with its employees. This fundraising will particularly focus on supporting urgent livelihood issues such as housing costs, living expenses, medical expenses, and self-reliance expenses for foreign workers, people with disabilities, and elderly living alone, who are in blind spots of government support.
The E-Land Welfare Foundation’s wildfire damage support fundraising campaign will run until the 22nd, and all funds raised will be used directly to support the disaster victims without any operating expenses.
