Finance on the 3rd, Real Estate on the 4th This Month
The Administrative Mutual Aid Association announced on the 1st that it will hold the ‘POBA Money Show’ at the Seoul Dragon City Hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 3rd and 4th.
The POBA Money Show is a member welfare program first launched last year and was held twice in Seoul and Busan.
On the first day, the 3rd, the POBA Money Show will offer financial-related lectures. In the first session, Lee Chung-yeol, Managing Director of the Administrative Mutual Aid Association, will explain the types and main benefits of mutual aid products under the theme ‘Understanding Administrative Mutual Aid Association Mutual Aid Products,’ and Heo Jang, Executive Director of the Administrative Mutual Aid Association, will discuss the asset management strategies of the association for stable profit generation under the theme ‘Understanding Administrative Mutual Aid Association Asset Management.’
In the second session, Hong Chun-wook, CEO of Prism Investment Advisory, will introduce effective investment strategies to cope with a highly volatile market under the theme ‘Asset Allocation Strategies That Are Not Shaken by External Shocks,’ and Oh Geon-young, Head of Shinhan Bank Premier Pathfinder, will present exchange rate volatility response strategies under the theme ‘Trump 2.0 Era, Exchange Rates, and Gold.’
On the second day, the 4th, three lectures on real estate will be provided, covering market outlook, auctions, and tax-saving strategies. These include ‘2025 Real Estate Market Outlook and Wise Asset Management’ by Ham Young-jin, Head of Real Estate Research Lab at Woori Bank; ‘The Truth About Auctions That Most People Do Not Know’ by Ko Jun-seok, Associate Professor at Yonsei University Sangnam Graduate School of Business; and ‘You Must Know Taxes to Protect Your Assets’ by Ahn Soo-nam, CEO of Dasol Tax Corporation.
In addition, the Administrative Mutual Aid Association plans various member participation welfare events. In the first half of the year, it will hold the Lotte World All Night Festival and a screen golf tournament, and in the second half, it will conduct themed camps for retired members and their families, as well as newly introduced fine dining experience events.
Kim Jang-hoe, Chairman of the Administrative Mutual Aid Association, said, “2025 will be a meaningful year as the association celebrates its 50th anniversary. Over the years, it has grown into an institution with assets totaling 28 trillion won, achieving net income for nine consecutive years, and having 360,000 members,” adding, “We will continue to make our best efforts to secure stable asset management profits and provide better mutual aid products and welfare services through member-centered, performance-centered, and data-driven management.”
