Applications Accepted at Town and Township Offices Until the 17th
Haenam County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Myung Hyun-gwan) announced on the 1st that it will implement the 2025 Haenam-style Youth Housing Support Program to promote housing and living stability for young people.
Eligible applicants are young people aged 18 to 49 who have their address registered in Haenam County and reside in a jeonse (with a loan amount of 100 million KRW or less) or a monthly rental (with a rent of 600,000 KRW or less) home. The program is open to those with a household income at or below 150% of the median income, excluding homeowners and those already receiving housing support from national or local government programs.
Fifty recipients will be selected in order of lowest household median income, and each will receive 100,000 KRW per month for up to 10 months, paid semiannually. Individuals may receive support up to three times in their lifetime, and annual application is required even if previously selected. Applications must be submitted by the 17th.
Applicants should check the eligibility requirements in the public notice on the Haenam County Office website, then prepare the application form and required documents and submit them to the local town or township office corresponding to their address.
This program is separate from the youth employment housing support and is an independent initiative funded entirely by Haenam County. For more details, contact the Haenam County Future Community Division by phone.
