Iksan City in North Jeolla Province will officially launch a new play experience facility called 'Rollglider' at the Family Park of the Wanggung Jewelry Theme Tourist Site starting from the 5th.
According to the city on the 1st, the Rollglider is a unique experience facility where visitors ride a trolley along a 13-meter-high, 360-meter-long rail at speeds of up to 30 km/h, enjoying the scenery of the surrounding forest and reservoir from above.

Prior to the official opening, the city conducted a two-week trial operation, which received a great response from visitors of various age groups. The city has completed facility improvements and inspections to ensure smooth operation.
The Rollglider will operate six times a day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with each session lasting 50 minutes. For safety, the number of users is limited to 24 per session, and safety personnel will be stationed at each section. The city is thoroughly prepared to prevent accidents through emergency response drills, safety education, and inspections by professional organizations.
To celebrate the official opening, the city plans to hold various events for Rollglider users, including free experiences on the Extreme Slide Tower and souvenirs for early visitors.
A city official said, "With the introduction of the Rollglider, we expect the Wanggung Jewelry Theme Tourist Site to become an even more attractive destination offering diverse experiences. As we anticipate an increase in visitors, we will prioritize thorough safety management in our operations."
Meanwhile, the Wanggung Jewelry Theme Tourist Site features a variety of facilities, including the Jewelry Museum, Dino Kids World, Dinosaur Theme Park, and the Extreme Slide Tower.
