Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center (Director: Cho Chiheum) announced on the 1st that it has donated a total of 50 million KRW to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea to support recovery efforts and assist victims of the recent wildfire in North Gyeongsang Province. The donation will be used to help residents in the affected areas recover and support their livelihoods.
This donation was made possible through the collective efforts of institutions under Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center. Not only the three hospitals?Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital, Daegu Dongsan Hospital, and Gyeongju Dongsan Hospital?but also the Dongsan Medical Mission Welfare Association, operated by faculty and staff who donate 1% of their monthly salaries, contributed to raising the total of 50 million KRW.
Cho Chiheum, Director of Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center, expressed his condolences, saying, "I hope this donation can provide some support to the residents struggling due to the wildfire in North Gyeongsang Province. Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center will continue to do its best to share and help with the difficulties faced by the local community."
