Competent Talent
Busan Port Authority (BPA) announced its new management policy of "Agile Organization, Flexible Mindset, and Competent Talent" on April 1, marking the 50th day since the inauguration of its new leadership. This initiative aims to strengthen the foundation for future-oriented management and operation of Busan Port.
First, an agile organization aims to respond quickly to customer needs. By actively collecting customer feedback and swiftly resolving pressing issues, BPA seeks to enhance operational efficiency through customer-centered service delivery.
A flexible mindset focuses on anticipating various issues and proactively addressing them in advance. This approach is intended to overcome changes and new challenges in the global port industry, fostering the agency's sustainable growth.
Competent talent reflects BPA's commitment to enhancing employees' global capabilities, including job expertise, legal understanding, and adaptability to environmental changes. The authority plans to further solidify its position as a leader in global port operations by expanding continuous training programs and leveraging international cooperation networks for talent development.
On this day, BPA President Song Sangkeun announced the new management policy to all employees during the monthly assembly, stating, "This policy marks the first step in preparing for a new leap forward, building on the achievements our authority has made over the past 21 years." He added, "Through fostering an agile organization, a flexible mindset, and competent talent, we will further enhance the competitiveness of Busan Port."
