Busan Regional Headquarters of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Holds Regular Working Meeting of Safety Culture Implementation Task Force

The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Director: Jung Jongdeuk) held the first quarterly working meeting of the Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group on Friday, March 28, in the main conference room on the first floor of the Korea Southern Power Busan Bitdream Headquarters.

Approximately 50 participants attended the meeting, including representatives from the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, Busan Eastern Branch, Busan Northern Branch, and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, as well as working-level staff from member organizations of the Busan Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group. The meeting proceeded with reports on the activities and plans of the Promotion Group, followed by presentations and sharing of each organization's safety and health activities. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to preventing industrial accidents through the spread of safety culture.

The Busan Safety Culture Practice Promotion Group was launched in 2023 as a joint organization of labor, management, civil society, and government, with 37 institutions participating to reduce serious accidents and promote safety culture. Currently, more than 50 organizations are involved, carrying out various activities to prevent industrial accidents, such as spreading safety culture tailored to Busan's unique characteristics and specialized industries and establishing self-regulatory prevention systems.
