Ikwonjae, Mayor of Osan, Appointed Honorary Professor at Osan University

Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 1st that Mayor Lee Gwon-jae was appointed as an honorary professor at Osan University on the 28th of last month in recognition of his contributions to the development of local education.

Osan University appointed Mayor Lee as an honorary professor in recognition of the city's active cooperation, which enabled the stable promotion and successful outcomes of the HiVE (High Vocational Education Hub) project. Heo Nam-yoon, president of Osan University, said, "The appointment as an honorary professor will serve as a great force for the university and the region to nurture talent together."

Mayor Lee stated, "I will continue to provide unwavering interest and support so that Osan University can grow further as a leading educational institution representing the region," adding, "I will contribute to fostering talent that will lead the future of the region."
