On the occasion of the 'Consumer Protection Day' in the second quarter of 2025, KB Securities announced on the 1st that it distributed an educational video on voice phishing response guidelines to financial consumers and conducted complaint prevention training for employees through the company broadcast.
KB Securities designates the first business day of each quarter as the company-wide Consumer Protection Day and carries out various activities to enhance and protect the rights and interests of financial consumers. In particular, it provides education to financial consumers to prevent financial damage such as misinformation on investments, and continuously conducts training and events emphasizing the importance of consumer protection for employees as well.
For this Consumer Protection Day, an educational video on voice phishing response guidelines for financial consumers was produced based on materials provided by the government-wide Voice Phishing Task Force (TFT).
The video includes ▲types and cases of voice phishing ▲voice phishing prevention services ▲voice phishing response procedures and guidelines ▲voice phishing damage support services, and is available for anyone to watch on KB Securities' official YouTube channel, 'Kkaebi Securities MarbleTV.' KB Securities plans to continue producing and distributing various educational contents for the protection of financial consumers.
Additionally, an internal broadcast was conducted for all employees to provide training on complaint prevention tasks. Through this training, the latest complaint trends and peculiarities by type were shared, and practical information on complaint reception methods, response guidelines, and processing procedures was provided, thereby further strengthening employees' awareness of financial consumer protection.
