Daedong Mobility Launches Three New Golf Cart Models

5-Year Free Warranty Program Implemented
Covering Seven Major Components, Including Battery and Drive Motor
Warranty Period Extended to 2.5 Times That of Competitors

Daedong Mobility announced on the 1st that it will strengthen its dominance in the domestic golf cart market by launching three new models and implementing a 5-year free warranty program. The newly released models include the premium limousine GA900 (6-seater), the 3-row deluxe GA500 (8-seater), and the 2-row standard GA300 (5-seater), all of which feature enhanced user convenience and safety.

First, the GA500 adopts 'Bolster seats' throughout all seats to minimize body sway during movement, maximizing passenger comfort with high stability and ride quality. The GA900 is equipped with an automatic cooling system. A weight-detecting seat sensor senses passenger boarding and alighting, automatically operating the air conditioner and a small fan. Additionally, it is designed with convenience features such as ventilation, heating, and massage to reduce fatigue from long hours of play and maintain optimal condition. All three new models come standard with a slope sensor that limits the maximum driving speed to 14 km/h on downhill slopes, further enhancing safety.

Along with the new models, a 5-year free warranty program will also be implemented. The applicable models are GA900, GA500, and GA300, with seven major components covered under the free warranty, including the reducer, drive motor, electronic brake, and battery. This period is approximately 2.5 times longer than the free warranty periods offered by other domestic companies. Additionally, to improve existing customer satisfaction, a free inspection campaign will be conducted for customers who purchased within the last two years.

Junho Moon, Head of Mobility Business Division at Daedong Mobility, stated, “The new models and the industry’s first 5-year free warranty will be key drivers in achieving a market share in the 30% range in the domestic golf cart market this year.” He added, “While solidifying Daedong Mobility’s market position domestically, we will steadily prepare for expansion into overseas markets for new growth.”
