Impact of Expanded Traffic Rights
Events Including Czech Beer Service
Asiana Airlines is launching a new route between Incheon and Prague.
Asiana Airlines announced that starting from the 1st, it will operate the Incheon-Prague route three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays). The flight departs from Incheon Airport at 9:15 AM and arrives at Prague Airport at 3:15 PM local time. The return flight leaves Prague Airport at 4:55 PM local time and arrives at Incheon Airport at 11:00 AM the next day.
This operation follows the expansion of traffic rights between Korea and the Czech Republic from four to seven times weekly, agreed upon at last year's Korea-Czech aviation talks. With Asiana Airlines newly launching this route, passengers now have more options for flights to the Czech Republic.
An Asiana Airlines official said, "We are pleased to newly operate flights to Prague, a city long loved as a center of culture and arts," adding, "We will continue to strive to provide differentiated services so that many passengers can experience the charm of Prague without inconvenience."
On the same day, Asiana Airlines held a commemorative event for the new route at the departure hall of Terminal 1 at Incheon International Airport. Attendees included Park Jong-man, Head of Passenger Division at Asiana Airlines; Shin Dong-ik, Director of Hub Strategy at Incheon International Airport Corporation; Ivan Jan??rek, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Korea; and Misha Emanovsky, Director of the Czech Cultural Center in Korea.
Asiana Airlines set up a photo zone in front of the boarding gate to allow passengers to commemorate the start of their journey and gave out magnet goods symbolizing Prague. Additionally, Czech representative beer will be served on round-trip flights until the 6th.
Furthermore, among passengers who purchase tickets for this route via the Asiana Airlines website or mobile application (app), 50 people will be selected by lottery to participate in a 'Czech Beer One-Day Experience Class' (held once in April and May, with 25 participants per session). A prize event is also ongoing until the 31st of next month, offering Prague flight tickets and other prizes to customers who order three or more Czech beers at over 500 pubs nationwide.
