Abalone at 9,950 KRW for 10 Pieces, U.S. Beef at Half Price
Thank You Festival Drives Over 20% Sales Growth in First Week
Lotte Mart announced on the 1st that it will hold the second week of the grocery shopping festival "Thank You Festival" from the 3rd to the 9th.
This event offers dramatic discounts on popular food items with high customer demand such as abalone, apples, and beef. Through pre-orders, Lotte Mart has prepared a large quantity of "One Tray Abalone (10 pieces·chilled·domestic)" and will sell it at 9,950 KRW, half the usual price. This amounts to 995 KRW per piece, the lowest price in the past year. "Jeju Hairtail (large·3 pieces)" will be available for 9,900 KRW when paid with event cards, and "SUPER Fresh Salmon (100g·chilled)" will be offered at 2,990 KRW, a 50% discount for L.Point members.
Lotte Mart will sell "Farm Support Apples (2kg·bag·domestic)" selected only from apples with 12 Brix or higher at a special price of 9,990 KRW, more than 30% off the usual price. Although these apples have irregular shapes, their taste and nutrition are no different from regular apples. Lotte Mart has increased the weight by about 60% compared to the usual weight.
All U.S. beef products will also be offered at half price. Representative products include "U.S. Chuck Eye Roll (100g·chilled)" and "U.S. Brisket (100g·chilled)" priced at 1,390 KRW and 1,590 KRW respectively. These prices are the lowest since April last year.
Lotte Mart will also hold a "One Day Special" event selling key fresh and processed foods at super special prices on specific days. On the 3rd, for camping enthusiasts, "Handmade Assorted Sausages (1kg·pack)" in five flavors will be sold as a 1+1 deal for 12,980 KRW. On the 4th, "Prepared Webfoot Octopus (500g·frozen)" and "Prepared Octopus (500g·frozen)" will be offered at 9,900 KRW with a 50% discount for L.Point members. On the 5th, "Seongju Mini Melons (1kg·bag)" will be sold at 5,990 KRW for L.Point members, limited to 10,000 bags across all stores (limit of 2 bags per person). On the 6th, a 2+1 promotion on bagged snacks and a discount event on "New Zealand Pumpkin (each)" will be held, where purchasing two or more will price each at 1,990 KRW.
Popular product categories will also feature 1+1 and 50% discounts. A 50% discount will be offered on all frozen dumplings and fried dumplings, and all Prosch dishwasher detergents when paid with event cards. A 1+1 promotion will be held on all iced tea and H?agen-Dazs products. Additionally, targeting picnic-goers, Lotte Mart will offer "Half-Price Value Sushi (30 pieces)" and "Gaengyeot Boneless Fried Chicken (pack)" at 14,990 KRW and 8,995 KRW respectively, with a 50% discount for L.Point members. From the 5th to the 6th, all bagged ramen products will be sold at 9,900 KRW for three packs.
During the Thank You Festival, Lotte Mart will also run the "Lotto Coupon" event to further enhance customer benefits. Customers who purchase over 70,000 KRW between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily will receive a 10% discount coupon. Additionally, 1,000 customers who purchase over 10,000 KRW across three channels?mart, supermarket, and online mall?will be selected by lottery to receive up to 10,000 Snow Plan points usable at Lotte Mart offline stores.
