Jangheung County Delivers Emergency Relief Supplies to Cheongsong County

"Supporting Wildfire Recovery and Helping Residents Return to Daily Life"

Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Sung) announced on the 31st that it had sent the first batch of relief supplies to Cheongsong-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, which was declared a special disaster area due to a large-scale wildfire.

These relief supplies were delivered to support the recovery of the wildfire-affected areas in Cheongsong-gun and to help residents return to their daily lives. The supplies consisted of 1,210 sets of gim (dried seaweed) worth approximately 25 million KRW, 60 emergency relief kits, and 40 cooking relief kits.

The county is conducting a special fundraising campaign to support the areas affected by the large-scale wildfire, with participation from public officials, social organizations, and general residents. The collected donations and goods will be used for the swift recovery of the affected areas and for supporting the victims. Additionally, the county plans to monitor the recovery situation and mobilize all available resources for further support if necessary.

Governor Kim Sung said, "I pray for the souls of those who lost their lives in the wildfire, and I hope our warm words of comfort will give strength to the local residents who are facing difficulties due to this disaster."
