Chungnam Office of Education's Professional Development Training to Strengthen the Competence of Lesson Coaching Experts to Promote a Culture of Sharing Lessons
The Chungnam Office of Education announced that it held a "Class Coaching (Sharing) Expert Capacity Building Training" on the 30th at the Provincial Office of Education International Education Institute in Gongju City to ensure the spread of a class-sharing culture.
The training, which targeted over 100 class coaching (sharing) experts, focused on the meaning and methods of class reflection, understanding teachers and students by type of needs, and strategies for class coaching (sharing) tailored to different needs.
A total of 145 class coaching (sharing) experts were selected through regional recommendations. They support the field by providing counseling, assistance, and problem-solving for classes through on-site visits and remote communication according to requests and needs from schools.
Kim Jicheol, Superintendent of the Provincial Office of Education, said, "This training was designed to support teachers' autonomy in instructional supervision and to improve teaching competency," adding, "Innovation in public education will begin by creating a school culture where teachers reflect, share, and collaborate in their classes."
