Park Eun-kyung of Korea Selected for EY Asia-Pacific Winning Women Entrepreneurs Program
Global accounting and consulting firm EY Hanyoung announced on the 31st that EY has selected 24 women entrepreneurs to participate in this year’s ‘EY Asia-Pacific Winning Women Entrepreneurs Program.’
The EY Winning Women Entrepreneurs Program identifies entrepreneurs who have achieved high growth in their companies and provides them with the necessary networks and resources to realize their potential and lead sustainable business expansion. Since its launch in 2008, more than 1,000 women entrepreneurs from over 60 markets worldwide have participated. The program has been running in the Asia-Pacific region since 2015.
The 24 women entrepreneurs selected this year represent leaders from more than 10 markets in the Asia-Pacific region, leading rapidly growing companies across various industries including technology, consumer goods, real estate and design, media, and entertainment. EY explained that the companies they operate recorded a combined revenue of $1.2 billion (approximately KRW 1.75 trillion) as of 2024 and have created over 11,000 jobs. In Korea, Park Eun-kyung, CEO of optical electronic components company Sekonix, was selected.
