The Only Korean Startup Among 10 Selected Global Startups
Support to Include Global Market Entry Consulting and Opportunities for Global Partnerships
QueryPie, a provider of data governance and cybersecurity solutions, has been selected for the 2nd batch of the global cybersecurity growth program ‘CyberBoost Catalyse’ led by the Singapore government.
According to QueryPie on the 31st, ‘CyberBoost Catalyse’ is a program that actively supports startups with innovative cybersecurity technologies to enter the Asian and global markets. It is organized by the CyberSG TIG Collaboration Centre, operated through a partnership between the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), the National University of Singapore (NUS), and the global innovation company Plexal.
In this 2nd batch, 10 startups selected from around the world including Singapore, Korea, Israel, the United States, and Europe participated. QueryPie is the only Korean company. QueryPie’s global competitiveness appears to have been highly evaluated based on its collaboration with Vodafone, the largest telecommunications company in the UK, and its selection as a global accelerator centered in Europe including Spain’s Real Madrid.
The selected companies will receive various customized programs such as boot camps, mentoring, partner matching, and market entry strategy development for six months based in Singapore to advance into the Asia-Pacific and global markets.
Hwang In-seo, CEO of QueryPie, was recently named one of the ‘Top 50 Software CEOs’ by The Software Report, receiving high recognition for leadership as well. CEO Hwang said, “We are pleased that QueryPie’s data access control and compliance solutions have been recognized for their global competitiveness through this selection,” adding, “This will be an important opportunity to expand not only into the Asia-Pacific market but also the global market, based in Singapore.”
Meanwhile, QueryPie provides a cloud-based data governance solution that can integrate management of data access control and security controls. It has been recognized for its technology by various domestic and international companies such as Kakao, LGU+, Toss, and Danggeun. In the first half of this year, it is preparing to launch an artificial intelligence (AI) security solution and expand globally, currently focusing on enhancing product completeness.
