Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 30th that it has donated 1 billion KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association and the Korean Red Cross to support the victims of the recent large-scale wildfires. The funds will be used for recovery activities in major affected areas such as Uiseong, Gyeongbuk, relief for disaster victims, and support for daily necessities and housing.
In addition, 420 emergency relief kits were delivered to the disaster sites. The relief kits contain blankets, underwear, and other items to quickly assist disaster victims during emergencies. At the disaster sites, meal support volunteer activities were also provided for firefighters.

To help the affected disaster victims regain stability quickly, LH decided to cooperate with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and local governments to utilize vacant rental housing. A field support team will be organized in major affected areas to immediately use 858 vacant rental housing units. Additional support will be provided through jeonse rental housing and other means for the shortage of housing.
After inspecting the site the previous day, LH President Lee Han-jun said, "We will continue to provide generous relief support to overcome this national disaster crisis."
