Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Selected as 'Excellent Saeil Center' for 3 Consecutive Years

The Gyeonggi IT Women’s New Employment Center, operated by the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, has been selected as an ‘Excellent New Employment Center’ for three consecutive years in the ‘2024 New Employment Center Project Operation Evaluation’ hosted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

The Gyeonggi IT New Employment Center is a women’s vocational education institution specialized in the information and communication technology (IT) field, offering level-based courses in three areas: planning and marketing, design, and development. Last year, it opened eight vocational training courses with 154 graduates, of whom 121 succeeded in employment or entrepreneurship.

In particular, the ‘Software (SW) Testing Expert Course,’ operated as a company-linked customized program in cooperation with the Korea Software Testing Association, achieved a high employment rate of 95%, with 19 out of 20 graduates securing jobs.

The Gyeonggi IT New Employment Center relocated to Gwonseon-dong, Suwon City, in February and will operate six vocational training courses in the first half of this year.

Especially, it plans to expand customized education tailored to job seekers and corporate demand by newly offering long-term courses such as ‘Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer’ and ‘Cloud Operator,’ as well as short-term courses on IT trends and artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
