[Tomorrow's Weather] Clear but Cool in Gwangju and Jeonnam... Beware of Temperature Differences On the 31st, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to be mostly clear throughout the day, but temperatures will be lower than average and strong winds will continue, resulting in chilly weather. Yonhap News

The wind blowing under the clear sky remains sharp. On the 31st, Gwangju and Jeonnam will be mostly clear throughout the day, but temperatures will be lower than average and strong winds will make the weather feel chilly.

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration, the region will experience clear weather under the influence of a high-pressure system over the West Sea, but as cold air moves down from the northwest, temperatures will drop significantly.

Morning lows are expected to be -4 degrees Celsius in Gokseong, Hwasun, Jangseong, and Yeongam; -3 degrees in Damyang, Naju, Hampyeong, and Gurye; -2 degrees in Gwangju, Mokpo, Muan, Haenam, and Suncheon; 0 degrees in Yeosu and Goheung; and 1 to 3 degrees in Wando, Gangjin, Gwangyang, and Jindo, which is lower than the previous day.

Daytime highs are forecast to be 15 degrees in Gurye, Gwangyang, Yeosu, and Suncheon; 13 degrees in Gwangju, Hwasun, Naju, Mokpo, Jangheung, Haenam, Gangjin, and Goheung; 12 degrees in Damyang, Yeonggwang, Muan, and Shinan; and 11 degrees in Hampyeong, Jangseong, Wando, and Jindo. The temperature difference between day and night is expected to exceed 15 degrees.

The air will remain dry. A dry weather advisory is in effect for Gwangju and eastern Jeonnam, and wind gusts will reach around 55 km/h (15 m/s). In particular, morning temperatures will drop below freezing in inland areas of Gwangju and Jeonnam, resulting in frost or ice in some places.

Waves on the West Sea will be 1.5 to 3.5 meters high, and 1 to 2 meters on the South Sea. Both fine and ultrafine dust levels will remain 'normal'.

A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official said, "With large temperature fluctuations and strong winds, the perceived temperature will be low. Please pay attention to your clothing and take precautions against fire and cold damage to crops."
