This workshop, held in the Yangsan area to welcome spring, was attended by 36 veterans and their families. In the morning, a special lecture on change management was given by Song Seopyeong, Head of Employment Counseling at the Veterans Support Center, and mentor Koo Jongsu (Visiting Professor at Tongmyong University). In the afternoon, participants enjoyed a strawberry picking experience and a strawberry cake-making activity, followed by a relaxing time at Sunmaewon in Yangsan to relieve physical and mental fatigue.
The Veterans Support Center offers special lectures to assist with career transition after discharge, and also conducts healing workshops to help soothe the minds and bodies of participants during the process.
The Veterans Support Center, which operates in 10 locations nationwide, provides a variety of employment and entrepreneurship support services for mid- to long-term veterans who have served for five years or more. These services include one-on-one career counseling, job information, education and training subsidies, and career transition support payments.
