Gokseong County in Jeonnam announced on the 28th that, in order to revitalize rural experience and recreation villages, it recently visited 13 villages in the area over the past two weeks to inspect facilities, review program operations, and communicate with village operators to listen to on-site challenges.
Based on the results of this survey, the county plans to implement various revitalization policies to strengthen the competitiveness of rural experience and recreation villages and provide better opportunities for visitors.
In particular, the county will promote support projects to modernize outdated facilities and establish new facilities needed for experience programs. These projects will be carried out in five locations and are expected to provide a more pleasant and safe environment for visitors, thereby having a positive impact on the local economy.
The county also plans to enhance the professionalism of village operators through capacity-building education programs. These programs focus on strengthening essential skills for managing rural experience and recreation villages, such as customer service, safety management, and marketing strategies. Through this, the county aims to improve the management capabilities and service levels of operators, thereby raising the overall competitiveness of the villages.
Additionally, the county will promote benchmarking of outstanding villages. By visiting successful rural experience and recreation villages in other regions and analyzing their cases, the county plans to develop programs linked to local specialties and introduce efficient management methods to increase visitor satisfaction.
A county official said, "We will promote the sustainable development of rural experience and recreation villages, and continue to strengthen the foundation of village operations through active support and communication."
