Gyeonggi Namyangju City (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 28th that the 3rd public inspection of the ‘2030 Namyangju Urban Management Plan Revision (Draft)’ will be conducted from the 31st to April 14th.
This urban management plan revision focuses on reviewing the feasibility of land use zones, districts, areas, urban planning facilities, and district unit plans throughout Namyangju City, and presenting a citizen-centered and rational urban development direction. Through this, it plans to improve unreasonable land use regulations and revitalize the local economy.
Previously, residents’ opinions were collected through the 1st public inspection in June 2024 and the 2nd public inspection in January 2025. In this 3rd public inspection, matters related to the reflection of residents’ opinions and the draft strategic environmental impact assessment report will be disclosed to the residents.
After this public inspection, Namyangju City plans to finalize and announce the 2030 Namyangju Urban Management Plan Revision (Draft) in June 2025 after consultations with related organizations, hearing opinions from the council, and deliberations by the Urban Planning Committee.
An official from Namyangju City stated, “This revision is an important plan to establish a long-term growth foundation for Namyangju City and improve the quality of life for citizens,” adding, “We will make every effort to establish the urban management plan revision that resolves unreasonable land regulations.”
Meanwhile, the urban management plan revision (draft) and the draft strategic environmental impact assessment report can be viewed through related documents available at the Namyangju City Hall Urban Policy Division and the Wabu, Jinjeop, and Hwado Administrative Welfare Centers, and written opinions can be submitted during the inspection period.
