First Daegu Women's Job 'Good Job Cafe' Held This Year... 20 Hired by 8 Companies

Daegu City will operate the mobile women's job placement 'Good Job Cafe' for career-interrupted and unemployed women seeking employment on the 31st from 11 a.m. at the Jeongryujang-Nabul Cafe in Gaksan-dong, Dong-gu.


The mobile women's job placement 'Good Job Cafe' has been running since 2016 for a total of 126 sessions, with 1,897 out of 2,761 on-site (including online and indirect) interviewees successfully gaining employment.

This year's first event, hosted by the Daegu Women’s Saeil Center, will be held at Jeongryujang-Nabul Cafe, with eight recruiting companies participating to hire around 20 women.


The event will be divided into direct hiring (two companies, three positions) where candidates are hired immediately after on-site interviews, and indirect hiring (six companies, 17 positions) where job seekers are recommended to companies. Recruitment fields include cook, nurse, caregiver, web designer, sewing worker, driver, and simple manufacturing positions.


The two companies conducting on-site interviews are Narasolution Co., Ltd. and Central Nursing Hospital. The six companies for indirect hiring are Jinmyeongdaum Suseong Center, Aju Transportation Co., Ltd., Gaho Senior Welfare Center Co., Ltd., JCS International Co., Ltd., PGM Park Golf Market, and Space Co., Ltd.


In particular, with the local business 'Jeongryujang-Nabul' Cafe providing the venue, job seekers are offered the opportunity to participate in a comfortable environment. Beverages and souvenirs will be provided to participants who register for employment and receive career counseling.


If you are unable to visit the site on the day, you can contact the Daegu Women’s Saeil Center to receive personalized career counseling and employment linkage services tailored to your experience, age, and desired occupation, as well as post-employment follow-up services.


Meanwhile, this year, Daegu City's 'Good Job Cafe' will be held 10 times, using cafes and external venues to provide employment support services across the region for job seekers and recruiting companies who may be marginalized due to time and space constraints.


Park Yunhee, Director of Youth and Women’s Education at Daegu City, said, "We will do our best to actively implement customized support policies so that more women seeking employment can find quality jobs and to promote women's participation in economic activities."
