Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Signs 'Business Agreement' with Seoul Medical Association on 28th

On the 28th, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center signed a business agreement with the Seoul Medical Association to strengthen essential regional medical services and secure specialized medical personnel in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas.

This agreement is the second achievement following the business agreement with the Gyeonggi Medical Association last October, as part of efforts to diversify recruitment channels for specialized medical personnel, improve the quality of medical services, and resolve the chronic shortage of doctors in local medical centers.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in various fields, including ▲ mutual cooperation to secure medical personnel ▲ information exchange and response to public health issues such as infectious disease management and vaccinations ▲ education to enhance staff capabilities.

In particular, the six hospitals under the Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center (Suwon, Uijeongbu, Paju, Icheon, Anseong, Pocheon) expect that through the recruitment of excellent specialized medical personnel, conditions will be further established for Gyeonggi residents to receive more professional and comprehensive medical care.

Meanwhile, through the business agreement with the Gyeonggi Medical Association last year, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center has hired eight specialists, significantly reducing the cost and time required for doctor recruitment.

Lee Pil-su, Director of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center, stated, "Following the business agreement with the Gyeonggi Medical Association last October, this agreement with the Seoul Medical Association will become an excellent model of cooperation between public and private healthcare." He added, "We will do our best to enhance the medical capabilities of public hospitals through the prompt recruitment of outstanding specialized medical personnel and provide medical services that Gyeonggi residents can trust."
