Jangsu County in North Jeolla Province recently conducted anti-corruption and integrity training for all its employees at the county hall's community center.
According to the county on the 28th, this training was organized as part of efforts to enhance trust in the public sector and realize transparent administration. It was led by Yoon Suseong, an expert instructor from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.

The training focused on key topics such as: ▲ Major contents and practical application cases of the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act ▲ Violation cases and prevention measures of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act ▲ The importance of compliance with the Code of Conduct for Public Officials ▲ Other anti-corruption legislation and practical measures for integrity.
In particular, the lecture centered on various real-life cases and in-depth Q&A sessions, helping employees to clearly understand the ethical values and legal responsibilities they must be aware of as public officials. The session also emphasized that a culture of integrity is directly linked to the improvement of public service quality, and shared specific ways to put this into practice.
Choi Hunsik, the county governor, stated, "Understanding and practicing anti-corruption laws is essential to fostering a culture of integrity in the public sector. I hope this training encourages our staff to do their utmost to implement fair and transparent administration."
The county plans to continue promoting integrity training and anti-corruption policies to become an institution recognized for its high level of integrity, making multifaceted efforts to realize administration that earns the trust of residents.
